Pandora 'Shadow' Zoroarkess

This is one of my contest prize reference pics for . I hope you don't mind working with a Mobian Pokemon - I tried to make her look as Mobian-ish as possible without losing the core design .

Here's what I thought would look good - do you think you could draw her in a long red, silk dress (darker than her mane) with a poinsettia on the shoulder, and her red mane in one large braid? I want her to look 'beautiful', but not to the point where it could be called 'sexy'. Like she's going to a Winter Ball or something .

Pandora is one of the characters that will make an appearance in my fanfics. Keep watch to see when she makes her debut!

Name: Pandora Zoroarkess

Nickname: Shadow

Gender: Female

Order/Species: Pokemon - Zoroark

Appearance: Pandora has a very slender frame with a thin waist and large torso. Her arms widen abruptly at the elbow joints and are tipped with three long, red claws each, the innermost ones acting as thumbs. Her legs grow thinner towards the feet, which are a little wider at the red toe-claws for better balance and swimming. An impressive mane of scarlet-red hair with black highlights runs from the back of her head to the ground, where it ends with a large black marking tipped with red. A teal hairband wraps around the center of the large black mark, creating the impression of a tail.

Pandora's primary color scheme is a dominant, steel gray. Her face is accented with round highlights of red at the edge of her mouth, above and behind her eyes, somewhat softer than others of her kind. Her neck is ringed by a thick mane of deep black fur, and the insides of her long ears reflect the same color. Her eyes are the same crystal teal of the hairband.

Personality: Pandora is very harsh, competitive, and enjoys a good challenge. She has a short fuse and a quick temper, is very blunt and to-the-point. Paradoxically, she is also a natural-born prankster. There are few things she likes more than catching someone by suprise with a good trick, and she always has one or two snide remarks up her metaphorical sleeves.

She is not very personable at all. Whether this is due to her tendency to pull pranks, or her own choice, is not certain.

Pandora also knows a small range of dialects; she can speak Mobian (English), the language of the Pokemon (English to everything except humans), and a little Spanish, although this mostly consists of swear words. One of her favorite quotes is "A Dios Mio, you IMBECILE!!" (Translates to 'Oh my God, you IMBECILE!!')

History: Previously owned by a brutal Trainer in the Pokemon Universe, she was forced to fight whoever crossed her path, weak or strong. She met many defeats at the hands of stronger opponents, and utterly crushed those who could not match her power. Time passed, and she grew bitter, resentful towards the man she had once thought a friend. She hated her Trainer for placing blame on her for failure in battles doomed from the start, and hated herself for being unable to show mercy to those who never had a chance.

One day, she had the outstanding luck - or grave misfortune - to stumble upon a baby Zorua. Caring for it in secret, Pandora hoped that this new light would break the darkness of her life. However, it was not to be. The Trainer eventually discovered the infant Pokemon, wrested it from her, and sold it off for a hefty sum to a poacher.

Stricken with grief at the loss of the chlid, she rebelled, finally breaking free from her master's hold. She traveled, hating anyone and everything, allowing no one to become close to her.

Eventually, she was warped by means unknown to the Sonic Universe, known as Planet Mobius. Here, she hopes to find a better future.
